Small Wonders Early Education Center is a licensed, residence-based child care center approved to care for up to 12 children. We provide high-quality early education and nurturing care for infants and toddlers in a safe, supportive, home-like environment. We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler program. The Assistant Teacher works closely with the Lead Teacher to maintain a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment while supporting daily routines and classroom activities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Love working with infants and toddlers.
- NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) required / Basic understanding of early childhood development.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a licensed child care center.
- Availability: Monday–Friday
- Current CPR / 1st Aid.
- Current SIDS training.
- Current Criminal background check
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively
